{URGENT AND CONFIDENTIAL}
(RE: TRANSFER OF ($ 152,000.000.00 USD}
{ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY TWO MILLION DOLLARS)
Dear sir,
We want to transfer to overseas ($ 152,000.000.00USD)
One hundred and Fifty two million United States
Dollars) from a Bank in Africa, I want to ask you to
quietly look for a reliable and honest person who will
be capable and fit to provide either anexisting bank
account or to set up a new Bank a/c immediately to
receive this money, even an empty a/c can serve to
receive this money, as long as you will remain honest
to me till the end for this important business
trusting in you and believing in God that you will
never let me down either now or in future. I
am.Mr.Butle Young, the Auditor General of a bank in
Africa, during the course of our auditing I discovered
a floating fund in an account opened in the bank in
1990 and since 1993 nobody has operatedon this account
again, after going through some oldfiles in the
records I discovered that the owner of the account
died without a [heir] hence the money is floating and
if I do not remit this money out urgently it will be
forfeited for nothing. the owner of this account is
Mr. Duncan Harkinson, a foreigner, and a sailor, and
he died, since 1993. and no other person knows about
this account or any thing concerning it, the account
has no other beneficiary and my investigation proved
to me as well that Duncan Harkinson until his death
was the managerDuncan Coy.(pty). SA. We will start
the first transfer with fifty two million
[$52,000.000] upon successful transaction without any
disappoint from your side, we shall re-apply for the
payment of the remaining restamountto your account,
The amount involved is (USD 152M) One hundred and
Fifty two million United States Dollars, only I want
to first transfer $52,000.000 [fifty two million
United States Dollar from this money into a safe
foreigners account abroad before the rest, but Idon't
know any foreigner, I am only contacting you as a
foreigner because this money can not be approved to a
local person here, without valid international foreign
passport, but can only be approved to any foreigner
with valid international passport ordrivers license
and foreign a/c because the money is in us dollars and
the former owner of the a/c Mr. Duncan Harkinson is a
foreigner too, [and the money can only be approved
into a foreign a/c. However, we will sign a binding
agreement, to bindus together I got your contact
address from the Girl who operates computer, I am
revealing this to you with believe in God that you

first and the only person that I am contacting for
this business, so please reply urgently so that I will
inform you the nextstep to take urgently. Send also

full details of the account to be used for the
deposit.I want us to meet face to face to build
confidence andto sign a binding agreement that will
bind us together before transferring the money to
anyaccount of your choice where the fund will be safe.
Before we fly to your country for withdrawal, sharing
andinvestments. I need your full co-operation to make
this work fine. because the management is ready to
approve this payment to any foreigner who has correct
information of this account, which I will give to you,
upon your positive response and once I am convinced
that you are capable and will meet up with instruction
of a key bank official who is deeply involved with me
inthis business. I need your strong assurance that you
will never, never let me down. With my influence and
the position of the bank official we can transfer this
money to anyforeigner's reliable account which you can
provide with assurance that this money will be intact

sharing. The bankofficial will destroy all documents
of transaction immediately we receive this money
leaving no trace to any place and to build confidence
you can come immediately to discuss with me face to

Dear Miss Butle,
My name is Ulysses E. McGill and I am received your
email through our general Inbox. Your proposition
sounds very interesting and I would be interested in
pursuing this opportunity. I believe I would be able
to assist you in transferring this money, however I
would need to negotiate the percentage that I would
receive.
I a little background on myself. My wife, Penelope,
and myself live in a little town called Troy but we
are thinking of moving soon. We are well known and
well respected. I am on an odyssey of my own - looking
for new business ventures. I like traveling and
exploring, usually in my sail boat. I like meeting new
people and working on new ideas.
Please let me know about the furtherance of your
proposition and we can do business.

Ulysses McGill,
I received your mail, considering your positive
responses and in my
anticipation of a strong and solid cooperation from
your side in this
business, in fact I am very much interested to know
whether you will be
capable to do this business with me in full confidence
trusting that you
will never let me down in future, ok.
(1)if you are really serious and have the facilities
for effective
communications, ability to set up a new A/C under
short notice ,even an
empty A/C without any money in it provided that the
A/C can receive money
is still ok.
(2)You must have a valid international passport or
traveling documents
then, contact me with the following tel. Nos.
882-1646651141 or
8821646685262 faxNo.874-762727949 if you want to call
my No. Dial the way you
use to call other countries, do not put South African
area code,
because it is a satellite phone, this business will be
completed within Seven
days from the date of the receipt of your A/C details
and subsequent
approvals from the Foreign Exchange control division.
You should not tell your bank that money is coming
until I finish
processing of all documents to show your bank that
this money is clean money
from genuine source to avoid your bank asking you
early questions that
you may not be able to answer so you should not alert.
After the processing of all Foreign Payment
documents, and when the
money is ready to be paid into your A/C, after the
final Approval in your
favor by the bank you be required to come in person or
go to Foreign
Payment Office to sign the Foreign Payment vouchers
preceding telegraphic
TT to your A/C or you can appoint a Lawyer here to
represent and sign
on your behalf under special arrangement at the
Foreign Payment Office
as you will be required to fill the payment Order
chart specifying
schedule of payments to beneficiaries A/C.
However it is my intention to be with you at least
2-3days ahead of
the money going into your A/C then we will sign the
binding agreement,
after your bank must have been satisfied with the
original documents
which I will bring along with me to your country to
show your bank or it's
correspondence bank that the money is legal. You
should know that this
opportunity can hardly come my way again in life so I
have planned
everything very well with an insider in the bank so be
rest assured that
everything will work out fine
My secretary only got your contact from the internet
and I am sure she
doesn't know you before being that I told her to get
me a foreigners
contact address because the original operator of the
A/C is a foreigner
and this money can only be approved into a foreign
beneficiaries A/C
only, frankly speaking from the bottom of my heart my
fear now is the
security of this money in your custody once
transferred into your A/C
because I don't know you before nor your capability
and facilities to handle
this large amount, what is your age and profession? I
really want to
know more of you and I will want you to keep it very
confidential at all
times and also to be maintaining constant
communications with me
knowing that this business should take precedence over
any other business for
the mean time
Now I need the A/C information and your private tel.
nos. as a need
may arise either to call you in the day or night as
occasion warrants.
Finally you have to be following instructions which I
will be getting
from the "OUR' insider' in the bank who is the main
Key to the success of
this business. Pls. respond without many questions
until we see face to
face because 'too many questions can sink a ship' I
will be waiting to
hear from you soon.
Sinccerely,
Young.

Dear Miss Butle,
This is tremendous. I have always had a dream to
travel the ocean to South Africa. What a beautiful
country! I have read so many accounts of the early
sea-farers who rounded the stormy, rocky cape, right
past the treacherous calls of the Sirens and refreshed
themselves at the Cape of Good Hope. What exploits! I
admire and love the people of your country -
especially Mr. Desmond Mandela and his struggle for
the liberation of South Africa.
I am positively thrilled about our business alliance.
However, we never did settle the share that I would
receive for assisting in this joint venture. I propose
that I receive 50% for my endeavours, you receive 45%
and we set aside 5% for any expenses. I hope that this
is satisfactory. As for trust and confidence, I
promise that I will never let you down as much as you
will never let me down.
Now, to address your points:
1. I have traveled the world widely and have the
ability to open accounts in different parts of the
world quite quickly. I am specifically thinking of an
account in either Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, the
Middle East or even in my hometown of Ithaca.
2. I have all the necessary travel documents and am
always able to travel on short notice.
3. I am currently leaving Troy and headed back home to
Ithaca after many years. It was my plan to sail the
length of the Great Lakes on my boat and as such I do
not have a phone where you can immediately contact me
since I live on a sail boat - the Calypso. I can try
to get a mobile phone soon though. For now email is
probably the best option since all the public
libraries have free email access.
4. I am 46 years old and professionally I was the
mayor of Ithaca. Ten years ago I left Ithaca and came
here to Troy with my lover Helen. (Alas, she was lost
to me and I remain a man of constant sorrows) Since
then I have been doing odds and ends but have managed
to accumulate significant wealth in various
endeavours. I know all about "sinking ships" being
both a lifelong sailor and also having been involved
in various ventures that came to bad ends. Don't
worry, I'll be discreet and careful.
Please, tell me a bit more about yourself. How old are
you? Are you married? If not do you have boyfriends?
Which part of South Africa do you live in? Have you
ever been on a sea voyage yourself?
Let me know about the next steps. I am willing and
able to do what it takes. By the way, where will I be
meeting you? How about the Azores? With a fair wind
and barring any unknowns from the deep I can make it
in two weeks in the Calypso.
Yours in the journey,
Ulysses Everett McGill

Hello Mr. Butle(y?) Young,
My apologies, I thought you were a woman and that's
why I kept referring to you as Ms and Miss. I hope
that you aren't offended.
About your subject line "ABOUT MY SEIF ( I have a
porblem in my mail .com)" are you indicating that your
earlier email address is not working? I thought your
earlier email address was "butleyoung@africamail.com".
What happened anyway? Are the power lines down in
South Africa or something? I've heard that that can be
a problem quite often especially when wild elephants
knock down power poles.
I'm glad to hear that you're a qualified accountant,
when we meet I confess I will impose on your
accounting skills to help me sort out my finances -
all my accounts and small investments all over the
place. I will probably need help in consolidating it
all into fewer accounts. When I'm on my Odyssey I
simply don't have the time to stop and get it all
together.
It's pretty amazing that you are royalty and the
inheritor of a throne. What are thrones made of in
South Africa? When I was in Olympia a while ago I saw
the most magnificent thrones made of gilded marble.
What is the name of the book again that chronicles the
adventures of your family? Can you give me a link to
where I can buy it online perhaps?
Now, I don't mean to be petty or anything but I
believe that I can help you in a meaningful way. For
that I think that I should get at least 45% of the
total amount. An extra 10% is $15.2 million more and
that's no small change all right!
Well, when I put into port (if I can ever avoid the
persistent embrace of Circe) I will open a new bank
account and get the details to you immediately. In the
meanwhile, may I impose on you to send me a picture of
yourself and your family in the Great Cesthwayo family
regalia? I have been telling my good friends Pete and
Delmar that I have a good friend in South Africa and
they asked me if I have a picture. I would definitely
love to get a picture you know. I am attaching a
recent picture of myself when I was in a contemplative
mood.
You still haven't told me where we will be meeting. I
suggested the Azores because I can point my sailboat
that way and be there in two weeks. Otherwise I would
have to fly to any other location. I am not really
fond of flying, it's my Achilles heel when it comes to
fear. I much prefer the sea you know.
Yours In The Journey,
Ulysses Everett McGill
P.S. I am not a Christian myself, in fact I am of
pagan persuasion and committed to Athena. I hope that
this will be of no bar to our doing business together
and our friendship.

Ulysses McGill,
I received your mail, the change of email was as a
result of my being
unable to send to you from the ussual address, and
that is why there
was delay in getting back to you, so we should be
using the both.
I will send you the first 2pages of my international
passport for you
to know me, when we meet face to face, we will talk in
details as i will
not have to blow my Royalty.
We can only meet here in Johannesburg, or at the
foreign payment office
attached to the embassy in Holland, this is implied by
the need that I
am not just inviting you, you are coming to conclude
our business, to
sign the final fund release order forms for money to
start going to your
a/c without further delay.
However, we should do the firt thing first, so when I
receive the a/c,
and we get approvals from the approperiate
authorities, we will
conclude on our meeting, because the most important
thing is to get bank
approvals in your favour as beneficiary as it is at
that time that you will
be required to come.
When sending the a/c, include the bank name, address,
a/c no. and your
full name and address as used in opening the a/c, when
i receive, i
will apply to the bank to start processing of
transfer, and will also send
for your perusal what i am sending to the bank.

Hey There Buttle (or is it Butley or Butly?),
Say, were you going to send me the first two pages of
your passport? What did you mean by you don't want to
"blow my Royalty"? You're not in hiding from a rival
tribe are you? I've heard the stories of the Matabele
and the Zulus splitting off and all that. Do you still
carry a ritual asegai these days? I would still like
to get a picture of you and your family in your royal
setting. Penelope would just love that!
Well, my boat's sprung a leak and I'm not sure when
Argus, my shipbuilder, will be able to fix it.
As for a meeting place how about we meet in Cape Town
instead of Johannesburg? I can sail into port rather
than having to fly (remember flying is my Achilles
heel!). My friend Icarus had a really bad experience
once when he was flying...
Anyway, I look forward to getting your picture and
I'll let you know when I have an account in place. I
take it we are agreed that I would have 45% of the
money for my efforts? Say, have you ever met Mr.
Desmond Mandela in person? What a great man!

Hey There Buttle!
Got your passport copy. Man, you look quite old and
very sad for only being 54. Take me, I'm just about 43
but I keep fit and trim. It's all in the mind and how
you approach life. Look for a fair wind and throw all
your worries off the starboard side.
Say, my good friends Pete and Delmar really want in on

together and have been on the go ever since. They want
to come with me to South Africa when I travel to meet
you. I hope you don't mind that they're in on this

Just to confirm:
1. I get 45% as my share
2. We'll be meeting in Cape Town (I've already put in

Let me know what's next, I have to go, my dog Ajax is

You can come with your freinds, since you trust that
they not cause any
harm to our business.
Ok. you will have the 45%, once you know that you will
be capable to do
this business, because this business is a business of
high manitude.
The first thing now is for you to send a/c, because
you will only come
when the bank has approved as the beneficiary.
We can only conclude our business in Johannesburg,
this is because that

you will proceed

I am waiting to receive the a/c information.

Howdy Butley,
Well, Pete and Delmar are positively thrilled about
all of this. Pete generally acts as my first-mate and
he's mostly reliable. Delmar is somewhat loose in the
head but he's a good sort.
My ship still has that dratted leak and Argus is so
busy that he hasn't gotten around to fixing it. So I
couldn't get off and open a new account somewhere. But
I have an older account which I haven't used in a
while and which I think is still active. Here are the
details you requested:
National Bank of Greece,
25 August street,
71202 Heraklion,
Greece
SWIFTCODE ETHNGRXXX
Account Number 205-624801-52 (for Ulysses Everett
McGill)
My address when it was opened was:
1A Calypso Apartments
28300 Vathi
Ithaca
Greece
Well, as soon as this leak is fixed we'll be on our
way to Cape Town. Since Pete and Delmar are going to
be helping I think that they expect a cut of the
money. I think a modest 5% from you would be
acceptable.
I am attaching a picture of myself with Pete and
Delmar (we do a gig once in a while calling ourselves
the "Soggy Bottom Boys").
Well, let's raise sail!
Ulysses
P.S. Why don't you meet us at Cape Town and we could
take you for a cruise on the ship?

Ulysses,
I received the enclosed a/c information, it is ok, and
we will use it
to get approval, when after we have complete approval
from the bank and
the ministries, at that time we can decide on how we
want to receive
the money because there is the posibility for us to
collect payment in
bank draft or cheque, under this arrangment, payment
can be splited in
bits eg 2million, 5million, 9million etc. So if we
collect payment in
bank draft or cheque it means money will not go to
your a/c by
telegraphic wire transfer and we can go to any country
of our choice to open
seperate new a/c's for depositing of funds.
The most important thing is to get approvals first,
because once we
have approvals, we are sure of the money and at that
time the bank will
start to take instructions.
So when all approvals are ready, at that time you will
come to sign the
final fund release order forms and also to pay the
0.1% inheritance tax
to Govt for the certificates of inheritance together
with international
fund clearance certificate to be issued to you to show
that the money
going to your a/c is clean, geniune and free from
drug/terrorism or
money laundering.
Try to be making all arrangments at your side for us
to have a hitch
free and successful transaction, i will be sending to
you the approvals
as they are geting available to me.
see below for your perusal what i am sending to the
bank on your behalf
for the processing of transfer in your favour as the
beneficiary, let
me know as soon as you are contacted by the bank for
me to brief you
further regarding the foreign payment procedures.
I received your picture, it looks great.
Butle.

Howdy Butley,
Hey thanks for putting in the letter on my behalf.
When do you think we'll be seeing the money. I'd
really like to buy a new ship. The sails on this one
have taken quite the beating.
Say, I might be a while replying for a couple of days
because Pete has gone missing. We met up with these
three beautiful young women singing so enchantingly.
Well, one thing led to another and now Pete's gone
missing. I think he let himself be enchanted by those
sirens. Delmar is beside himself, the Soggy Bottom
Boys won't make waves and so we'll have to go looking.
What do you think about 5% for Pete and Delmar anyway?
Now that things are progressing so fabulously do you
think you'll have a chance to send me that picture of
you and your family in royal regalia? Keep me posted
then.
Yours in the journey,
Ulysses

Sorry Pete is missing, did he follow the girls or

But you should try to be checking your mail, to know

There will not be any other percentage, so whoever is

When you come here in person, you will meet me and my

Howdy Butley,
Thanks a million pal for your concern about Pete.
Well, he followed those sireens and somehow ended up
back in the slammer. Now Delmar, he went nuts and
thought that Pete was witched into an amphibian after
he went missing by the river. Well, when Delmar and I
went looking for him we were accosted by this big
one-eyed guy who beat us up and stole all our money. A
real Cyclopian deal :( Anyway, we met up with this
other real nice guy who plays the guitar somewhat
mighty fine and he's sure going to be a nice addition
to the Soggy Bottom Boys.
We're not sure how we're going to spring Pete loose
because we really need him on this trip. And I would
really like to get a move on this and get to the pot
'o gold at the end because I'm missin my Penny a whole
lot and I want her back.
I let the bank know that the lawyer, Mike Moss would
be contacting them soon with whatever paper work is
needed. Hey, thanks for doing all the legwork. I must
say I haven't yet heard from this Thambo. He's the
insider right? I'll give the lawyer a jingle and see
how things are going. I'm still leaning towards
docking at Cape Town. I'd sure appreciate it if you
could meet us there and give us the mini tour.
Yours In The Journey,
Ulysses

Attn:Ulysses McGill,
I received your mail,You are required to come in
person to sign and
collect Inheritance documents and also to pay
Inheritance fees as
shown in the attached Schedule of Fees being mandatory
official
processing/Administrative cost charges so that
Certificate of
Inheritance will be given to you in your name, the
official
processing charges is always 0.1% of value meaning
0.1% of $52million
which is exactly $52,000.00 as soon as this money is
paid the
Ministry of Justice will issue the Certificate, it is
very important
to follow procedures in order to get all necessary
relevant documents
because this is a very large amount and it is this
documents that
will guarantee the security of the funds in your a/c,
all these
documents will prove to your bank that the money is
not related to
Drugs/money laundering, Terrorism etc. As a lawyer, it
is my civic
responsibility to guide you properly and to ensure
that when money
gets into your a/c that it will not raise questions
and it is your
obligation to be following my advise for successful
result.
Paying of official processing cost 0.1% is not
negotiable, but if you
don't have this amount to pay, there is another
possibility that you
will transfer the money to your a/c on Bond, signing
for the
releasing of the money 52m to your a/c with Bond will
cost you $7,338
on Bond forms through an accredited Govt. registered
Broker. The Bond
will say and guarantee that you will pay the tax on
receipt of $52m
in your a/c.
Secondly, if the money is released to your a/c on
Bond, it means that
there will be a "clause" in the Payment Schedule
meaning that you
will not be allowed by the clause to dispose the funds
until you pay
the 0.1% Inheritance tax to the Govt. of South Africa
before the
Ministry of Justice will issue you the Certificate of
Inheritance
before you will be allowed to dispose the funds as you
want, but if
you pay 0.1% there will be no clause and the total
money will
automatically become yours without any pre-condition
from the very
moment they issue Certificate of Inheritance in your
name and all
transfer documents will be handed over to you with
full legal rights.
Out of the two options, you need to advise me on which
step to follow
and I will start to work on that pending your physical
arrival for
final completion and collection of the relevant
documents.
For further enquiries you can contact me on
27-837209948.I also need
your contact tel nos.

Howdy Ben,
Thanks for the fine work. I'm still trying to get Pete
out of the County Lockup. I fear I can't go anywhere
until he's out. It would go a lot easier if you could
intervene as Pete's lawyer and try to throw some
weight around with Sheriff Cooley's office. See, fact
is that this is not the first time that Pete has run
afoul of the law and that's why he's in so long for a
simple charge of disorderly conduct. It would help
mighty greatly if you'd send a lawyerese note asking
Sheriff Cooley to release Pete to my oversight.

Does your bank assist with such matters? I've been so

in SA to pay the inheritance Tax and to sign the final
fund release
order forms for money to start going into your a/c
without further delay.
So you should always follow the instructions of the
lawyer.
Since you have not found Pete and will be going home
to see your family
and baby, what then will be our next step, will you
come after getting
home, or would it be better for you to go the foreign
payment office
attached to the Embassy in Holland to conclude
everything, it is the same
thing as coming here, as you will not come here again
if you go to
Holland.
You should try by all possible means at your side to
conclude
arranagements to come to finish our business, the
performance bond is an
alternative to the Tax of 0.1%, so performance bond is
signed when the Tax
cannot be paid, this will broker the Tax to allow
money go your a/c first,
after which you will then pay the Tax after receiving
the money in your
a/c.
Confirm receipt of this mail and inform me your
schedules regarding our
business and your going home.

Hey thanks man. Yeah, I sure do miss my wife and the
baby. Do you have any pictures of your kids that I
might see?
The lawyer is so on top of things. I wish we had a
lawyer like that here to get Pete out of jail. I've
been asking Ben if he can write a note to Sheriff
Cooley and if he does then maybe this will go faster
and we can ship it out there. Our new buddy Tommy
Johnson thinks that Cooley is the devil himself.
We ran into Babyface Nelson yesterday. Man, that guy
was on the rampage. Can't believe he gets away with
shootin livestock and such. Now Delmar, he got
baptized in the river the other day. Not for me I
said.
I'm thinking that perhaps we can get Pete out, come
and get the cash in Cape Town and then head back to
Penny and the kids. I know the lawyer wants me to sign
some forms and pay some 1% cash. Perhaps you can help
me out and pay him the 1% cash and I'll sign when I
get there and I can pay you back the 1% cash from the
$52 million.
Cheers to your lovely wife and the young uns.

Ulysses,
You should know that I have never transfered money
before in my life,
that we are only following the instructions of the
bank official who is
making everything possible in the bank.
It is not the me or the lawyer that wants you come to
sign, you are
coming to sign in compliance with inheritance
procedures, as all
beneficiaries of huge amount must come in person to
pay the inheritance fees and
obtain the certificates of inheritance.
Uptil now, it's not possible for me to complete the
business alone
without your support,$78,000 in bringing this business
up to the present
stage you should also realize that I am the only one
making all expenses
from the beginning both, in paying the lawyer for the
affidavit and in
paying the medical Dr. for the death certificate,
including the tips
given to the bank officials for quick approvals
without demanding for
oral physical interview with you in person at the
counter of the bank
before approval of payment which is one of the norms.
You should realize that under normal circumstance,
amount of this
magnitude can not be approved by email and fax only
unless under special
arrangement as we also have insider in the bank, so
you should try as much
as possible to raise the money, and any expenses you
make will be
deducted from the total amount going into your a/c
before sharing, so it is
not possible to deduct the $52,000 from the 52Million
as we have to
follow the official procedures.
You need to understand the procedures of inheritance
as it is the same
process all over the world. So it not a question of
paying money before
or after, it is a question of obtaining the right,
correct legal
documents to process inheritance forms and secure the
International Fund
Clearance Certificates together with Original Letter
Of Administration
from the Probate Registry under the Ministry of
Justice.
You should bear in mind that this man who died, did
not leave any WILL
behind in your name, and like in every other place,
Letter Of
Administration is always used to substitute WILL if
somebody dies INTESTATE and
there is always a fee for processing of inheritance
forms because it is
only when these documents [LETTER OF ADMINISTRATION] i
s issued that
you have the legal authority over the credit balance
and the Estates of
the deceased holder of the a/c, so as of now you have
no legal right and
no bank can grant you any request to deduct, transfer
or remove part of
this funds without this legal instrument authorizing
the bank to make
payment.
The only legal instrument needed is this LETTTER OF
ADMINISTRATION, or
you call it CERTIFICATE OF INHERITANCE and that is
what you are paying
for, knowing that the process of [HEIRSHIP] is the
same all over the
world.
Try by all possible means at your side to look for
money to pay the Tax
or sign the Performance Bond.

Howdy Butley,
Thanks mightily friend for offering to speak with Ben.
Pete is in jail because of disorderly conduct. He went
out with those sirens and ended up making a ruckus in
public and fell prey to that devilish Sheriff Cooley.
You see, Pete's been in jail before, truth be told, so
have Delmar and myself. So, if Ben could write to
Sheriff Cooley and promise to straighten out Pete then
perhaps Cooley will go easy on him. I'd sure
appreciate it. And don't forget to have Ben copy me on
his email to Sheriff Cooley so that I can have the
peace of mind.
I'm sure looking forward to coming to South Africa and
picking up the treasure and I'm also looking forward

Here are the lyrics that I mentioned. I hope you like
them.
Yours In the Odyssey,

MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW
Performed by the Soggy Bottom Boys
----------------------------------
(In constant sorrow through his days.)
I am a man of constant sorrow,
I've seen trouble all my day.
I bid farewell to old Kentucky,
The place where I was born and raised.
(The place where he was born and raised )
For six long years I've been in trouble,
No pleasures here on earth I found.
For in this world I'm bound to ramble,
I have no friends to help me now.
(He has no friends to help him now.)
It's fare thee well my old lover.
I never expect to see you again.
For I'm bound to ride that northern railroad,
Perhaps I'll die upon this train.
(Perhaps he'll die upon this train.)
You can bury me in some deep valley,
For many years where I may lay.
Then you may learn to love another,
While I am sleeping in my grave.
(While he is sleeping in his grave.)
Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger
My face, you'll never see no more.
But there is one promise that is given
I'll meet you on God's golden shore.
(He'll meet you on God's golden shore.)

Howdy Butley,
Thanks a million dollars for pleading Pete's case with
Ben. I think Ben will have a tremendous impact on
Cooley. Well, Pete got into trouble lots of places
where we were - Troy, Ithaca, and now in Canton. He's
in the county jail in Mississippi. If Ben can make it
over here that would be even better, you see, Cooley
is deciding on whether he should even press charges or
not and Ben's timely intervention could make him drop
the charges. I hope he can write an email or something

Well, I have to rush, Ajax is whining again, Syclla is

I too thank Athena and Apollo for getting Pete out of

his efforts to get Pete out.
Who is Minister Fred Thambo? Is he like a governor or
something? Here governor Pappy O'Daniel is definitely
going to help us out with this adventure to South
Africa. He believes in us Soggy Bottom Boy alright.
Say about those 52,000 greenbacks, I don't have that
kind of cash right now. The only way I could get it
would be if I sold the boat. Do you think you could
just loan the 52,000 to Ben and I'll pay you back when
we get the treasure? If I have to sell the boat then I
won't be able to sail over.
Delmar says hi and wants to know if there are any
women in South Africa with whom you could set him up.
He's not real successful with women I'll have you
know.
You know, I feel like we're fast becoming good friends

given them some 52,000 bucks to get the treasure.
You'd better get that from Ulee right away otherwise
he and those boys are more 'n likely to blow it all on

Dear Butley,
I sure ain't heard from Ulee. He does this all the
time when he's out on an adventure - I'm the last
person that he worries about. Did you not meet him in
some place called Cape Town? The last he told me that
you was in some town called Jonanensburg but you was
to meet him in Cape Town at some fancy hotel, the
Grace hotel I think. Pappy O'Daniel's been askin me
whether Ulee and the boys got the treasure yet.
If you hear from Ulee you tell him to call home right
away.

always keeps his promises. Tell me truly did you go to
meet him at the hotel or are you only waitin to get a
phone from him? As I sez before if you didn't go to
meet him then Ulee probably got with those Soggy
Bottom boys and went carousing somewhere with that
52,000 that Pappy gave them. If I was you I'd hustle
and bustle to that hotel and find Ulee before he
spends all that money. And when you find him you take
him to a phone and make him call me and the girls
right away.
The girls and I we ain't got no money right now with
winter's approachin and all and we're needin money to
pay for heat and groceries. You'd better send Ulee

Dear Butley,
This has been so horrifying and traumatic. I finally
heard from Ulee. The Calypso got caught in the
whirpool of Charybdis and was shipwrecked. Ulee and
the boys clung to a makeshift raft and after four days
of drifting on the open ocean they were finally thrown
up on the island of St. Helena. Ulee was okay but the
Soggy Bottom Boys were all shook up and Delmar lost
some toes to a shark.
Ulee called me from some town on the island called
Jamestown and he sez that they're gonna take the RMS
Helena to Cape Town. He sez that they rescued the
money but had to spend some of it for lodgings and
passage but that they still have about 43,000 bucks
which they will bring with them. He sez that the RMS
Helena will dock at Cape Town on October 15th.
Please, please meet them at the dock and make sure
that Ulee is okay. Finish your business and send him
home as soon as possible and don't go puttin him on
any ship just put him on an airplane. The girls and I
are worried sick.

See again Thambo's tel no. 27-834843825, if he is

0834843825 that is excluding [27] which is our

Ask him to be calling Fred Thambo on 27-834843825. but
when in Cape town, he should not add [27] instead, he
should dial exactly like this 0834843825. He should
call him immediately he arrives for him to meet him or
instruct him on how to meet him in Johannesburg,
because that is where we will conclude the business
and not in Cape town.
I just hope you will be able to send him this
information immediately, or ask him to access him
email emmidiately he arrives to retrive the tel nos.
Try to keep him properly informed, for him to meet
Thambo to sign the release of the trasure, he should
follow thambo's instruction, everything will be
alright and as soon as we return back to meet you,
things will change as our lives will never be the same
