And they shall request of you goods and fineries. And you shall fill their order. But their payment shall be false, yet the goods and fineries will be in their hands before you know the payment is false, and there shall be much gnashing of teeth.
  Or they may ask for gifts. And this shall be for charity, and your heart will be pleased to help the stranger. Yet even these gifts shall be in vain, for they will sell your gifts and keep the money, yea, even in their pockets will the money go.
  And they will laugh at your travail, for your suffering is not real to them, and it matters naught. And rivers of beer will not ease your suffering. Well it might. But it is better to avoid the scamosity altogether than to try to explain it all in a bar.

Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave His life for us at the cross that we who believe in Him might have eternal life.

I am the pastor of Christian Bible Church. Am married with children.I'm age 50 and my wife 45. My occupation is farming.Ten years after giving my life to Jesus Christ I had a divine call from God to the ministry here in my village.Initially l resisted but when God started moving and dealing in our heart, l obeyed and went into this ministry..

Our church is located in a rural village community of about 8,000 inhabitants which is a typical traditional community.In recent years the village has been greatly stroked by enthnic clashes which has resulted in many death and made many children homesless and orphans.Our church is presently the only one which have moved in here despites many oppositions and treat to our lives .Many new convert have now joined us,as it has really been difficult for us since many wanted to stop the gospel of Jesus Christ from coming in. But they failed. The Bible says in Isaiah 59:19, "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." And I John 4:4 says, "Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." When we recognize the reality of God's word in these chapters the devil is no match for us.

Today the Lord is with us,as many keep joining our Church.We have also added a small orphanage where we care for ophans.our goals is to bring them up for their service to the Lord. "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life." Jude 20:21.
The people here are unskilled laborers.!engages in manual farming!fishing!

We are writing to request for your assistance for materials.Presently, we are greatly in need of 20 Study Bibles and Books.Our members cannot afford to buy Bibles and many have not open it since their birth.We would need one or more reference Bibles.These materials will be helpful for our study and research.My wife is presently in need of a Giant Print Bible because of her reading difficulties of small letters.

Pls see what you could do to help us,as we are greatly commited in witnessing,teaching and proclaiming the Good News of our Lord God Almighty,we have many numbers of false religions here. We want to reach these people with the truth from God. Jesus' return is near and thousands of people are searching for a new kind of life. Without materials we will not be able to evangelize effectively.

So, like, this is like, a scam. But you knew that. (You did know that, didn't you?)

It's a subgenre of the Fake Purchase scam - purchases with a stolen credit card or bouncy bouncy check. [The initial order may actually be paid for, but this is unusual and just to soften you up.]

Here the "pastor" (well who knows) asks for bible donations, but you'll have to pay some shipping fee or bribe some imaginary official, otherwise the poor pastor won't get the bibles. Or he'll just sell them.

If you are in business, be wary of orders from West Africa. It's a shame but what's a small business to do? Check with your professional association and bank. At least wait for the X weeks it takes to be sure an international order is good, or you might be held liable for a bounced check, even if the local branch of your bank cleared it at first.
