Political commentary from a Lad!
I noted the case of Amina Lawal, a Nigerian woman who will soon be stoned
to death for the offense of getting pregnant while unmarried -- see this

Anyway, I sent an angry, anonymous note to a bunch of Lads who
self-identified as Nigerian in recent scam emails:
Dear Mr. Nigerian, I am SHOCKED and HORRIFIED that your country NIGERIA is planning to STONE TO DEATH an innocent woman, AMINA LAWAL. If you do nothing to STOP this OUTRAGE, then you have proven that civilization has ended in your country. If this innocent woman dies, then I will never have any more dealings with Nigeria. I will never again buy any Nigerian products, and I will boycott every company which deals with Nigeria. So will many millions of others in the civilized world. Your country is sick and brutal and stands in shame in the eyes of the entire world.
