Dear Ndidid,
Thanks for your fast reply. It is such a good thing that you respond in such a
fast and clear way! And all caps are gone!
It is no use to give you my telephone number as my wife does not speak any
foreign languages, except for some Norwegian and Ancient Greek so that would
not help us a lot. Besides that, she is not aware of the details of this
transaction. She only knows that I am involved in a lucrative business deal.
And I would like it to keep that way ;-)
I am sorry I forgot to mention my fax number. Actually I do not see the need
for sending faxes since everything can be handled by e-mail. But since you
insist the number is 0XX-XXXX . I do not hope that somebodey else will pick
up the fax, because that will jeopardize the whole transaction. You better
stick to e-mail, okay?
This weekend we will be buying some presents for you. Please send me your size
for your suits. Could you also please send a picture of yourself so that we
can see whether or not the clothes will look pretty? My wife is very good in
combining clothes with people! As far as the wrist watches are concerned: do
you prefer Bvlgari or Rolex? Any rubbers too?
We will be sending you the gifts by a courier, so please give me your address.
You wrote that the money will be in my account before next weekend. When and
where do you expect that we shall be meeting after the transfer?
Best regards

Hello brother and friend Ndididi,
We are all very excited here about the money to arrive next week. Just a few
questions that came to my mind:
- are you going to transfer the whole sum of money and do you want me to pay
back your share?
- How will you be sure that I won't sit on the money or transfer it to
another bank account?
- I recall that a certain percentage of the money will be set aside for
expenses. What expenses do you expect and when do you have to pay them? How
much will they be?
- what is the size of you suits and what watches do you prefer? My wife is
already preparing a nice gift box (she loves to do that).
I know a lovely hotel where we could meet. We can also have dinner there.
I'll let you know more details once we have settled the date. Did you
already make reservations for your flight?
Please do not forget to send me your address tonight.

Dear Jack,
i have recieved your mail and excited on the preparations you are making
towards the actualization of this transaction and must thank you for that.
In the first place, the first place the whole money must be transferred to
your account directly without reservation at all based on the nature of the
transaction which you know and specifically i shall be talking to a lawyer
tomorrow to know his charges for the paper work and know how much will be
involved in the whole process.
I will be making my arrangement to be come over from thursday next week once
the bank wires the money to your account and prior to my coming in , we
shall arrange for a reservation in a hotel or anywhere you will suggest.
On the issue of trust, i believe once that in as much as i am sincere to my
fellow human being here on earth, nobody can cheat me, but if you do not
want me to trust you then i should be having a second thought about the
whole transaction with you. the way you responded showed me you are a
sincere person to deal with that's why i believe in you.
My Adress is Plot 15A Adeolu Close
Ajose Adeogun Street,
Victoria-Island,
Lagos.
My size for suits is 54 and i would prefer any good swiss watch, if you can
afford Rolex as you said, i will appreciate it most.
I do not want my wife to be aware of this rather i will prefer you to send
the items to my personal driver who will deliver it to me immediately.
His name is Mr. Peter Osondu.
Please on sending them by courier service, send me the airway bill to enable
me track it early.
My sincere Regards to you and your family

Dear friend Ndidi,
I feel strongly that we are going to be very succesful in this deal. From
your emails I can tell that you are a 100% business man! Unfortunelately you
forgot to attach a picture of yourself but I am sure you will do so in your
next e-mail.
I have talken good notice of your address. But I don't understand why you
should ask your driver to pick up the parcel. The address is your personal
address isn't it? Why should you need a driver to pick up the parcel? Do you
want me to send the gifts for your attention or for the attention of your
driver?? I am confused now, so please explain.
I am very happy that you have found a lawyer that will do business on
Saturday. Usually you find a closed door during the weeked every time you
need a lawyer. I also appreciate your willingness to pay the charges for the
lawyer's paperwork. Please trust me that I will pay you back immediately
after I have received the money in my account.
As far as your flight is concerned: do you mean this upcoming Thursday??
Where and when will you be arriving? Please provide me with your travel
schedule as soon as you get it. I'll be making reservations in a five star
hotel (*****) for you.
Looking forward to your answers.
Bye for now and say hello to Mrs Okocha and the little Okocha's (if any) and
also to Mr Osundu.

Dear Jack,
Sorry for my late reply and my inclusion of my drivers name on the adress to
recieve the parcel, the reason for deciding to use my personal driver is
because my wife works in the same bank with me and she does not know about
our transaction and i don't want her to know at all since the transaction is
only known to you and i alone, you can attention it the courier to my driver
while you send me the airway bill to enable me trach it here and send my
driver to get it for me.
On my arrangement, from thursday, the very moment the bank contacts you on
the fund movement i will get prepared and send you my flight schedule for
the reservatioon to be made in the hotel.
My scanner is bad and by monday it will be ok since i have taken it for
repairs.
I have called the lawyer this morning and he is charging US$23,500.00, i
will pay him part of the fees let him commence work on monday and on
completion of the transaction his balance will be pid to him.
Please send the items as you promised and send me the airway bill while i
work on the lawyer.
Kindest Regards and GOD BLESS YOU, AMEN!

Hi Nididi,
I think there is a small error in your last e-mail. You wrote that the
lawyer is going to charge $ 23,500 for the paperwork. I assume you mean $23
and 50 cents or perhaps 235 dollars. $23,500 would be an outrageaous and
ridiculous amount for some paperwork. In case he insists on charging you
huge amounts, please get rid of him. I know a very trustworthy lawyer, who
also will have some good business connections in Nigeria. And I am sure he
will charge no more than a few hunderd dollars. Please do not pay your
lawyer in advance !
I still don't understand why I should forward the parcel to your driver. We
run the risk that he will disappear with the parcel since it contains some
really valuable items. I prefer sending it to Mr Ndidi Okocha himself. Okay?
I'll be waiting with buying the gifts till you have found a less expensive
lawyer and till I have received your picture.
Looking forward to your reply

Dear brother Nididid,
I knew something was wrong with his fee !! You better be very careful next
time. This time I was there to prevent you from paying too much money, but
next time you need a lawyer he might try to screw you again. I am glad you
paid his fee in advance. Again: as soon as we meet I'll repay you from the
money that has been transferred to my bankaccount.
I am looking forward to the email of the lawyer and also to the picture.
Hopefully today.
Next time please tell me a bit more about yourself and the way you are
living. Is it true that many people in your country still live in tree huts
and put little saucers in their mouth?
Bye bye

Dear Jack,
Irecieved your mail and sorry for my late reply, i was busy attending a
family meeting.
I went in the afternoon to scan my pictures as i told you but the canners
are on black and white and that won't show my true picture, i will send mine
along with my faily picture by monday.
As for the lawyer, you did not inform me on time but then i have paid him
and he has promised to continue the work by monday morning and i believe by
tuesday he will be through with the paper work as he promised.
Please on no account should you involve your lawyer in Nigeria on this to
avoid jeopardising our efforts knowing fully well the confidentiality
involved in this transaction, as such, keep to your self as you've been.
Africa in general is undeveloped only we are trying our best but the people
in power are currupt, they do not want the masses to have a piece of a
little of the endowed resources we have. of course yes, people are still
living in huts even here in Lagos and the Government are doing nothing about
it, they are only concerned on themselves and their immediate families and
relatives.
I have a wife and two kids, my wife's name is Rita, my first daughter's name
is Joy the the last one is Rita, we are living happilly in our three bedroom
apartment provided by my bank.
I hope this satisfies you? when are you sending the gifts? if i may demand,
please could you help me with a digital camera to be sent along the parcel
with perfumes? I hope i'm not asking too much but you are my friend and
brother please.
Please respond to my mail and i will read and respond after my church
service or before i go to church tomorrow morning.

Dear brother !!
Thank you so much for your email. It has put my mind to ease. And you are
right of course that it is better not to involve another lawyer in Nigeria.
They probably all want a piece of the cake, so we beter stay with your
lawyer. He has already sent me an e-mail and I replied to him. I told him
that you are going to pay in full for his work. I hope I was right in
assuming this?
As far as the presents are concerned I'll buy a nice digital camera for you
tomorrow. There is new model allowing you to take pictures with 1 million
pixels. We will decide on the color of the suit as soon as we have seen your
picture. We are hesitating between dark blue, which will probably of good
use when you are working at the bank or a nice grey, which is also of good
use on informal meetings.
Could you please explain what you and I have to do once you are here? Do we
have papers to sign or do we have to go to the bank to claim the money and
transfer your part to your account? Thinking about you travelling to
me....maybe it is a good idea that you choose your presents yourself once
you are here! In that case I can make sure that you will like them and that
your suit will fit you. It goes without saying that I'll be paying for all
gifts and don't try to bring me on other thoughts, because I insist on
paying!! After all you have become my friend in this short period. Gee, it
looks like we know each other for ages yet. How is Rita doing? What brand of
perfume does she prefer?
Well, please send me your travel schedule and I will be making hotel
reservations right away. I hope I will be receiving the paperwork in due
course and without errors. But since the lawyer is charging you a lot of
money I am sure it will be all in order!
Well, enjoy your Sunday Nidididi

investments which you will be managing for me tempoarily for about six

Hello brother Nidididdi,
I was awaiting your email and my heart filled with joy as soon as it
arrived. I also received an email of your lawyer and I have returned it
together with the requested application form.
I also received your email regarding the tears of your wife. This email made
me change my plans and I suggest that I spend all my money on gifts for a
good pair of glasses for your wife. Ones eyes are so important! I will not
buy a suit and watches and a camera but a pair of the best glasses money can
buy. I am sure you will agree with this and I assume it will fill your wifes
eyes with tears again once she hears about my plan. This time it will be
tears of joy, Nididid!! Please send me the prescription for the glasses.
Once you have arrived here we will go to the optician to pick up her glasses
and you will be able to choose for a frame yourself.
Back to business. I read that you have plans to stay here permanently after
you resign. I am surprised by that. It is not so easy nowadays to get a
residence permit. Maybe you should reconsider it.
I hope Rita is doing well. Say hello to Joy and Rita junior.
Looking forward to your swift reply.

you told me that you had two childeren, Joy and Rita. On the picture I see
three childeren, so I am a bit confused now. Did one of the neighbour kids
joined you for your family pic? Your wife looks great, the picture must have
been taken before she got eye problems.
I also got an impressive certificate of the lawyer. It is a pity that the
date is wrong: 2002 instead of 2003 or do you have a different system to
count the years in Africa? This lawyer wrote that the board has to decide on
when the money will be transferred. It looks like this is not going to
happen this week, which disappoints me. Please explain. Did you already book

Hey Nidiid,
calm down, man!! Did I tell you that I discussed our transaction with
someone else???
NO !!
I just said that someone told me about these fraudulent practices. He told
me without knowing anything about our deal. And I did not tell him anything
either. As I wrote in my last e-mail, I trust you. Would I buy presents for
someone I do not trust??
So, please do not suggest these things anymore.
I am a bit worried however since you keep postponing the deal. First you
said the money would be in my possession by the end of last week, then you
said it would be Friday and now you were talking about Monday. Could you
please confirm that it will be Monday indeed at the latest??
I am still very eager to conclude this deal.
How is Rita?? Is she still suffering with her eyes?
Regards

Dear mr lawyer,
it seems that you and your client are not communicating very well. It is not
for the first time that I tell you that I am deaf. In case you do not need
what this means: I can not hear. Therefore I do not have a telephone and if I
had one, I would not be able to use it. I do have a fax, but I do not see a
reason to use it, since e-mail is the perfect way of correspondence for me.

Please contact him and ask him to finalise this deal promptly. Please remember

Dear Jack,
I have recieved your mail and never wanted to bother you but however, if you
can help there is no problem.
The bank need USD8,432.00 as bank charges covering the transfer of the funds
to your account, it was for this reason that the lawyer was demanding for
your phone and fax number since the bank wanted you to reach them and for
them to reach you too in respect to that.
Since then i have raised 5,200 and finding it difficult to raise the
balance, i have just recieved my salary and it all amounted to 950 usd on
conversion meaning i have now US$6,150.00, i am still making efforts to
raise some money since monday is the deadline given by the bank.
Please if there is any way you can assist no matter the measure, i will
gladly appreciate it than delaying further this transaction because the
money ought to have been in your account since last week.
I expect your response.

you can by western union money transfer to the name given by the bank to the
lawyer MR. JOHN IBE, Lagos-Nigeria, Text Question: password Answer:Payment.
The above is the instructions the bank gave the lawyer which he forwarded to
me and it would be a welcome idea and most convincing if they will recieve a
payment from the next of kin to the late Mr. Barry Kelly (yourself) to
justify that you are really the next of kin than this cash payments i have

Hello Nididi,
I think I have to make a little confession to you. The reason that I asked you
for Western Union offices is that I do not like to transfer the money by bank.
The source of my money is definitely not from any criminal action, but the
fiscal authorities have never had their share of it, if you understand what I
mean....
My capital is quite reasonable, but most of it is in cash in my vault. It is
much easier for me to send the money by cash transfer instead of by bank.
I know this will cause you extra trouble, because you have to go and pick up
the money at the courier office and then deposit it once again with the bank.
I still decided to ask you to do this favor for me. For compensation I also
decided to send the gifts at the same time to you. I know that I can trust
you, so could you please give me the address I can send the gifts to? As soon
as you agree I will send the money (will $ 2,500 be enough?) and the gifts
this weekend. The gifts are a watch, a suit, sun glasses, a gold plated pen
and also a surprise.
Thanks brother for choosing me for this transaction. I do hope you accept my
proposal.

Dear Jack,
There is no need wasting time, please sent it tomorrow early enough so that
i can get it on time by monday.
Send to MR. PETER OSONDU, 75 GEORGE STREET, DOLPHIN ESTATE LAGOS- NIGERIA.
It would be safe and secured and i will recieve it and the only courier
service you have to sent it to is United Parcel Sevices (UPS).
On the cash, please look for a place on the suit or the trouser waist open
it and neatly put in the cash and sow it back, why you have to do this is
because they don't deliver cash and to avoid missing anything, it is better
we do it that way. I hope you will understand what i mean.
Ensure immediately you send it to give me the tracking airway bill number
let me track and monitor it till delivery, this way it would be safe.

Hi Nidide,
I am happy with your proposal regarding sending the gifts and the money. I
am sure it is a very easy and safe way to transfer everything to you.
BUT.....even if I send it tonight or tomorrow morning......you will never
get it before Monday. The girl from the UPS information desk told me that
the parcel will not arrive in Nigeria before Wednesday or Thursday. So I am
afraid we have to put everything off, since the deadline of the bank will
probably be not negotiable... I am breaking my head to find a solution,

I am all ready here, money ($ 2,500) and gifts are all wrapped up. But I do
not want to run the risk that the items arrive too late. I am quite a rich
man, but the total value of all items is more than nothing. I will only be
sending everything after you have assured me that the bank will accept an
arrival on Wednesday or Thursday. I cannot use Western Union anymore since I
have hidden the money in the suit, like you suggested. I am not going to
take it out again!

Just a few more days and you will have the money and the presents!!! I hope

This morning my personal assistant has delivered the parcel at the local UPS
office. I had to wait for the electronic copy of the airbill, but they just
sent it to me and I have attached it to this email.
The UPS employee suggested to forward the parcel to the local UPS office in
Nigeria, which is considered to be more safe than a delivery at a private
address. The local Nigerian UPS office the parcel will be send to is in
Benin. My assistant was told that Benin is very close to you. I am really
happy that things are moving ahead now and I am looking forward to you

To satisfy my curioucity, i would have known that surprise, please don't
feel i'm too inquisitive but i have to know.
The actual date of the arrival is not certain since it was specified 5-7
days on the airway bill and i do not know the tracking number for the
parcel, please could you ask them at the ups office tyo give you thr
tracking number by tomorrow so can know the date of the arrival of the
items, i have to be in Benin by thursday or friday morning to pick it but it

Dear brother Nididiid,
As I told you before, it is quite common here to exchange presents when doing
business. It is also common to keep these presents secret and it is not
considered polite to ask for the nature of the presents. Since I appreciate you
are not familiar with our habits, I decided to reveal the nature of most of the
presents. But for at least one present I stick to our local rules and I am not
going to tell you what it is. I do have my pride, you know !! I will only tell
you that it will really be a big surprise.
I don't understand why you should know the tracking number. I am not very
familiar with sending parcels oversea, but as far as I know all necessary
information is included in the airbill.
I made sure that the shipment was surrounded with all possible security
measurements. Please take no offence, but I do not trust all African people and
I want to avoid that someone else is collecting the parcel. UPS has confirmed
my personal assistant that there is only one way to collect the parcel and that
is in person. You have to hand over the airbill, present your ID and answer the
test question.
Under no circumstances they will reveal any information about the whereabouts
of the parcel by phone, fax, email or whatever. I hope you understand why I
have chosen for these Triple A Security Shipment. The parcel is worth a lot of
money and I do not want to run the risk that someone else has collected it
before you do. In the worst scenario you have to wait a couple of days for the
parcel to arrive, but I guess that is not really an issue for you.
Please let me know your expected date of arrival, so that I can make the
necessary arrangements.

Hello Nidid,
This morning I contacted the UPS local office and the General Manager has
solved the problem for us. The parcel has been sent to Warri and is waiting
there for you to be picked up. Please see the attached letter from UPS which
explains everything. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I am sure everything
will now be solved within a few hours! Please let me know as soon as you have
got the parcel.

COPY OF THE "UPS LETTER":
Regarding: Parcel with bar code 1225517800-9
February 7, 2003
Dear Mr J. Breda,
We have performed an investigation based upon your complaint this morning about
a non-delivery in Nigeria. We have contacted you by telephone to explain the
situation. Upon your request we also send you this letter in English, so that
you can forward it to your business associate in Nigeria.
The airbill we have sent to you earlier showed that the parcel had to be
delivered in Benin. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances the deliverey
address had to be changed at the very last moment. These circumstances were
caused by a bomb attack in the Prudent Hotel in Lagos. This event caused a lot
of last minute changes in our strict routes and schedules. Security rules made
it difficult for us to make timely deliveries in Lagos and even in Benin.
I have contacted our local agents in Nigeria and we have just found out about
the whereabouts of the parcel. The parcel has been rescheduled to arrive in the
UPS office in Warri, which is also quite close to Lagos. Your party can pick up
the parcel at the UPS Office:
2 Effurun / Sapele Road
Effurun
Warri - Nigeria
He can use the same airbill. The parcel will be kept there till February 11 and
all security and safety measurements are still valid. We guarantee that the
parcel will be kept safe.
We do apologize for the inconvenience but we hope that you understand the
reasons. As a token of our service we offer you a 50% discount on your next
overseas delivery.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Anthony W. Smit
UPS General Manager

Dear Ndidi,
I am really glad you had a safe trip back to Lagos. Did you already inform the
bank about the slight delay? Now we are approaching the finalisation of this
deal, I am sure they will grant you some more days.
I am afraid it is not possible for you, or for anybody, to get information
about the parcel. Given the high value of the presents, I applied for Triple A
security. This means that UPS employees are not allowed to reveal anything
about the parcel by telephone, fax or email. I am sure you understand. In case
someone knew about the parcel, he could easily call them and claim it. The only
way to receive the parcel is in person. Please take a proper ID with you,
together with the airbill and give a right answer to the test question. Since
we now know for sure that the parcel is in Warri, I suggest you drive down
there tomorrow to collect the parcel.
Please inform me as soon as you have unpacked the gifts and the money and the
surprise present of course! I will not reveal the nature of the surprise, but
actually it is worth more than all other presents together!
What about your travel schedule; when can I expect you here??
Best regards
Jack

fees on monday, our money will leave on tuesday morning.
I will book my flight same tuesday and sed you the flight schedule for my

Dear Jack,
I just dropped the phone having called the ups office in warri and lagos
respectively.
I was told respectively that since the adress bears lagos, it would be safe
to send the item back to Lagos on or before monday let me and me alone have
all the information regarding the content of the parcel otherwise, the
delivery at warri would not be possible since the designated adress is not
in either benin nor warri.
I did not show nor mention the items on the parcel to them for security
reasons.
Since the clearance at warri nor benin is not possible as they said, there
is no hard feelings sending the parcel to lagos with all the informations
sent to me and me alone as they said than making the second journey without
any sucess and we should not lose sight of the short date we have to
complete the fees for the release of the money to your account.
I know what you are avoiding and i am even more cautious than you because i
know what the content has to solve and considering the short time and this
result of my findings, please see what you can do fast to to get the parcel
back to lagos on time for me to get it and get on.
I appeal with you on my kneels please.

Dear Ndidi,
I have called the local UPS office again and explained the situation. They told
me that there is no reason to worry. For security reasons it is just not
possible to resend the parcel to another place. I think that our transaction is
worth making the trip. We should really finalise it early next week. Could you
please confirm that the bank agrees with the delay?
Please find below the e-mail from the UPS office. Attached is a new airbill.
Please confirm to me that you go to Warri as soon as possible. I don't like the
idea that the parcel is in that warehouse for such a long time.
Take good care, my brother and I pray you have a safe trip.

Re: UPS Parcel with bar code 1225517800-9
Dear Mr J. Breda,
Further to our telephone call I confirm by e-mail that the parcel you called
about definitely is in Warri, Nigeria. Since you applied for the highest grade
of security there is no way to get a confirmation from the local UPS office in
Warri. The reason for this is that we want to make sure that other parties can
not claim the parcel. The only way to collect the parcel is in person and by
showing the airbill. Upon your request we have printed a new airbill, showing
the UPS adress in Warri. It is not possible to forward the parcel to another
UPS office in Nigeria. We advise your party in Nigeria to collect the parcel in
person at the UPS office in Warri.
Yours sincerely,

will not be possible till i get the money to settle the charges here.
I really appreciate all your efforts and pray that all will work for good
for us since you have shown your love for me and your love for me and your

Hello Ndididi,
Thanks for your email. I am very excited now that our deal will approach its
climax! It was really a good decision to choose for UPS and for a high security
level. They deal with this shipment in a very professional way and we can both
feel quite relaxed about the safety of the parcel. I am sure they handle it
with care and I am so much looking forward to your enthusiasm when you collect
it.
Please tell me how Rita is. How are her eyes? My wife included a few presents
for Rita. I don't know what they are (women don't want to talk about those
ladies things, you know), but I am sure it will be expensive, tasteful gifts.
Please email me before you leave for Warri. I will keep you in my mind the
whole road down there.
Looking forward to your reply,
Take good care and blessings for you, my brother

Dear Jack,
Quite unfortunate that we are just commencing our transaction and trust
seems so far, i had trusted you and every information you need about me has
been given to you and you have made me a fool before the UPS officials both
here in warri, Benin and Lagos.
They told me that there is no parcel like you said even after showing and
producing all identities, they still said nothing is there, why all this,
besides they told me the airway bill i have is not their airwaybill.
You should have left me to know how to go about getting the money for the
clearance with the bank for the release of our money to your account than
dragging me up and down all for nothing.
If you still want to help me, please send the items to lagos and i will pick
it up there, if it is in warri and they refused me from taking it, then
instruct your ups to direct it to lagos or you call it back to yourself let
me gradually work out my way through to the sucess of our transaction.
Tomorrow is public holiday here in Nigeria and if you can act fast, then by
thursday, i shall have it here with a comcrete evidence of the parcel.
I am going back to Lagos now and hope to read from you later today.

Dear Ndidi,
I was frustratred by your e-mail. First of all because you doubted my trust and
my good intentions. Why would I spoil a great opportunity to get a lot of
money?? Why would I buy a lot of gifts and not sending them?? Why would I send
you the wrong airbill??
Nevertheless, I do understand your frustration as well. I asked my personal
assistant to call the local UPS general manager. She had two long conversations
with him and he contacted the Warri UPS office himself. The manager of the
Warri office confirmed that no one claimed the parcel in person today. He
admitted that someone made inquiries about the parcel by telephone and by fax
and someone without an ID, but according to the security rules he denied that
the parcel was in the warehouse.
I don't understand it anymore. Actually I am not sure whether or not you went
to Warri in person. Ndidi, the only way to get the parcel is IN PERSON. The
Warri manager said tomorrow is Id-El-Kabir, whatever it means, but they will
keep the parcel till Wednesday. In case the parcel is not being claimed, they
will return it to me. The invoice for the freight costs will be send to you. I
trust you will understand.
I still hope this is all an unfortunate misunderstanding and I suggest you
drive to Warri in person to pick up the parcel.

your brother

mail before moving there, i got there by after 2pm with my driver and on
enquiry we were told there was nothing like that parcel there, i do not know
how you can believe me, i have gone to benin now warri and warri again.
If the ups has a good intentions why couldn;t they give the item, they are
denying already and the best thing is to call the parcel down to lagos
otherwise i will proceed again by wednesday morning because i am feeling
feverish.

Ndidi,
Because you do not seem to trust the way the parcel is being handled, I have
e-mailed your picture to the UPS office in Warri as a matter of extra security.
This was suggested to me by the local UPS General Manager and I thought it was
a splendid idea. I have told the Warri people that they should not talk to
anybody about the picture nor send it to anyone. So even if someone calls about
the picture or the parcel they will just deny everything. They now know what
you look like so we don't have to bother that someone else picks up the parcel.
I hope this will put your mind at ease. Please let me know when you are going
there. How many kilometers is it anyway?

I am getting a bit angry now. Can't your read??? I told you that you have to
pick up the parcel IN PERSON. That means that you can't send anyone else, not
even your brother with a dozen of pictures. I can tell you now that the UPS
office in Warri will deny having the parcel. You have to go there yourself.
They will check with the picture and only if the person claiming the parcel
matches the picture they will give you the parcel. If not, the parcel will be
send back to me on your expense.

Dear Jack,
i can see you are very angry with me but i cannot help it, my brother is
gone and just now i called the lagos ups office and i was told there won't
be work till on thursday even in their local offices nationwide meaning that
my brother will still come back empty.
I have excempted myself from the office for close to one one week now and my
travelling to warri or anywhere is very remote.
If you can be kind enough to to assist me let my brother collect it, it will
be most convenient for us than all these draggings and travellings here and
there.
Besides my picture, you know that the parcel is to be claimed by peter
osondu and not myself, i was only accompanying him to make sure he does not
get away with it just for security reasons since ordinariry the adressee is
supposed to collect it because it bears his nme and that is why my brother
took along his driving licence.
If worse comes to worst, please redirect to lagos or recall the items let me
know how to go about the funds since i cannot afford to travel for official
reasons.
Let me have your opinion please.

you are making a big mess of it! I did everything I could to help you. I sent
you money, very precious gifts and the only thing you do is messing things up.
Why sending your driver??? Why sending your brother?? Why calling the UPS
office while I told you they are not going to answer your questions??
I am not going to repeat everything. You know that YOU and YOU ONLY can pick
up the parcel in Warri. Take it or leave it.
The only solution I can think of is that my business associate, who will be
travelling to Nigeria soon, will be meeting you, in order to solve things. But
to be honest, I doubt whether or not you can do business like this in a
professional way.

Dear Jack,
Thank you for your mail and everything you said, everything lies on your
hands, you have tried by helping me to see that our transaction works but i
have told you all i can do.
The parcel bears Peter Osondu and NOT Ndidi Okocha and i cannot keep being
absent at work because i am not the owner of the bank where i work this you
know the implications and our transaction is centered on getting the
proceeds of this transaction to our benefits which requires trust.
If you trust me, you should have granted my request for a way forward but
instead of progressing, we are retrogressing which is not fair and i have
done all i could to get these items as you sent it.
If there is nothing you can do as you outlined, then call back the gift to
yourself let me start to look for the money required to complete the bank
charges for the release of our money to you.
I have not inconvenienced you but i feel you do not trust me, i leave in
lagos and the adress i gave you is in lagos, no matter the security on the
parcel, there is nothing wrong with me having acess to what you sent to me
out of your good will for the benefit of you and myself.
I do not know the business associate you are sending to meet me and i do not
know what you must have told him about me, everything still lies on you.
Please i need your answers since my brother is back to lagos without the
parcel again and i am getting frustrated and worried and cannot help it
other than the way i have told you on my previous email today.
I expect your mail and please be aware tomorrow is still the same holiday

Well Ndidid,
it seemed that you have really messed up everything and that the parcel is
going to be send back to me. I imagined that you would had really liked the
surprise ( a credit card with a huge spending limit). I am rather upset about
your unprofessional behaviour and the only reason I offered you to do business
with my associate is that this transaction involves a lot of money. And I still
like that.
My associate does not know anything about our deal yet, but in case you agree I
could inform him. He will be travelling to Nigeria soon and I could ask him to
go to the bank with you to conclude this transaction. I could ask him to bring
along the necessary money to you . Once he is involved I am sure the
transaction will be taken care of in a good and professional way. We have to
make sure the bank allows us more time.
Just give me your thoughts

Dear Jack,
Thanks so much for your mail and the steps you intend to take.
Our transaction ought to have been concluded by now if not for all these
delays and i believe if the parcel is recieved on thursday, early before the
bank closure, the payment will be programmed and the next day our money will
get to your account.
The lawyer applied for extra days which has elapsed since yesterday, I do
not want your friend to know about our deal and you do not have to inform
him about it for no reason whatsoever because i am guiding against by banks
knowledge of our transaction and want to have my dealings with you and you
alone since we are at the conclusion stage.
I had the thought of going to warri tomorrow but still it is a public
holiday and the ups will not open till thursday.
Please tell them to delay the parcel till friday let me make out time to go
there for it or if you are calling back the parcel as you said, let it be
sent to my name , better still i would prefer to to pick it up now that it
is in Nigeria than going back and coming again which will taker a rather
longer steps that might jeopardise our transaction and the motive of your
sending the parcel which is known to you and myself.
Please see what you can do and let me know in the morning tomorrow early
enough.

Dear Ndidi,
my personal assistant just called the UPS General Manager. He is getting a bit
suspicious now, because we keep calling about the parcel. He doesn't
understand why you haven't picked up the parcel yet.
However, we arranged the follwoing:
1. The parcel will not be moved to Lagos, but will stay in Warri at the UPS
warehouse.
2. The parcel will stay in Warri till Monday. If it is is not being picked up
by Monday it will be send back to me.
3. You have to pay an amount for extra storage on picking up the parcel and
the full transportation costs in case the parcel will be send back to me.
4. The parcel can only be picked up by your driver Peter Osunda upon showing
the airbill AND AN ORIGINAL PASSPORT FROM MR PETER OSUNDA HIMSELF.
5. The UPS Warri office will be told again not to give any information about
the parcel by phone, fax, email, ancient African drums or whatever.
As you see I have skipped the photograph procedure, because this would only
cause misunderstandings. You also see that your driver needs his passport or
at least an official valid ID (no drivers license) to collect the parcel. Do
not send your brother or someone else this time, Nididi.
I hope you will be able to stick to this procedure and please send your driver
to Warri tomorrow.
I assume everything is clear this time.

Hello Ndiid,
I am a bit surprised because I just got an email from UPS that the parcel in
Warri has not been picked up. What happened? Did you driver not manage to find
the UPS office?
UPS offered me two possibilties: one is returning the parcel to me, in which
case you have to pay for the transportation costs. The other possibility is to
send the parcel to the UPS office in Lagos, which seems to be closer to you, if
I am informed well. I have to decide today or tomorrow at the latest, so please
let me know what you prefer.
In case you want the parcel to be returned to me, we have to think of other
ways to transfer the money to you. Do you have any suggestions?

Feb 16
Hello Ndiidididididi,
I assume you decided not to send any more e-mails to me. But please take some
time to read this one. It could be our last e-mail.
First of all I want to thank you. I had so much fun with you. You know, what
you tried to do is:
1. get me greedy
2. make me think about nothing else than the money
3. make me send money
4. make me find out it was all fake.
But....what was it that actually happened?
1. You got greedy (a big parcel full of money, watches, pens and even a
surprise!!!!!)
2. you could not think of anything else than this parcel (oh, please jack, send
it to me, where is it, can I get the airbill, your are my brother)
3. you did quite some efforts to get the parcel (you drove to Benin, back to
Lagos, to Warri, you called the UPS offices, you tried to find out if the UPS
airbill was genuine).
4. And now....now you are about to find out that it was all fake. You have been
scammed, Ndidiididid.
You tried to scam me.
You failed.
You were scammed yourself.
So let's call you a mugu from now on. Okay?
Well, Mugu Nididi, I had real fun with you. The knowledge that you were driving
all the way to those UPS offices gave me good time. And not only me. Also my
family (by the way, how is Mrs Rita?). And a lot of more people are going to
enjoy our emails. I am going to publish all our emails on a web site. I am not
going to tell you which site, but believe me, it contains many, many good,
hilarious stories of your colleague mugu's. People all over the world will be
able to laugh at you, mugu Ndidi. On behalf of all of them, thank you.
But, life can't be fun all the time. As you might have noticed by now, from the
very beginning I knew you were a 419 Advanced Fee Scammer. It was very obvious
that no one would ever believe an email from a total stranger offering a few
million dollars. So far, I have made fun about your attempts to rob me. But
actually I think it is a serious crime you were trying to commit. And I think
you should not come away with it. Luckily you were so smart to give me some
names and addresses (like: Plot 15A Adeolu Close, Ajose Adeogun Street,
Victoria-Island,Lagos and MR. PETER OSONDU, 75 GEORGE STREET, DOLPHIN ESTATE
LAGOS- NIGERIA.) The name could be false, but the addresses could be
interesting. Not for me, don't misunderstand me. But I have forwarded all your
emails to the 419 Fraud departments of the FBI, Europol and Interpol (The
American, European and International police departments). They were really
happy with it. And they also liked the telephone number you gave me, like
234-803-3275702. I informed the Nigerian Embassy about the behaviour of one of
their fellow country man (I mean you). And in a few days time I am going to
forward your messages to your e-mail provider. Most likely they will kick you
out. I know that you will apply for a new address, but it is just the idea.
Well, Mugu Ndidi, I think you should be ashamed of yourself. First of being a
mugu, secondly because you try to scam honest people. Although I can hardly
believe someone is going to believe you. That's because you are a lousy
scammer. You are not good at it. Why don't you get a proper job? Does your wife
know you are scammer? Is she proud of you? Do you tell her you go to internet
cafes trying to rob people in the US and in Europe?
Ndiidiididi mugu, one of these days you will probably be arrested. That is not
a nice experience. But getting scammed is worse, much worse.
Enjoy your time in jail.
Jack breda
NB. I am not really deaf but I think you figured that out by this time...
And here the story ends...
