Miss Anna Demeanour has a short attention span, which makes it hard to keep a Lad on the line. She has fun, though.

The server is chatty about itself:
Presumably, "joegidisuproposal.pdf" is the scam-o-document.
Mr. Joe Gidisu,
Your basic "over-invoiced account" '419' format. ANNA DEMEANOUR
[I guess the "proposal" above is what I'll get from him if I reply. So I reply:]
Yeh sure whatever ?

Re: Details... MY PLEASURE, This is a proposal in context but actually an appeal soliciting for your unreserved assistance in consummating an urgent transaction requiring maximum confidence. My name is Mr. Joe Gidisu Chief Credit Officer (CCO), IFCA RESOURCES GHANA LTD/ MINISTRY FOR ROADS AND HIGHWAYS ACCRA, GHANA. On December 6, 2002, a foreign consultant/contractor Mr. Seung-Yeoul Johnson , made a numbered time (Fixed) Deposit for twelve calendar months, valued at Fifteen Million Five Hundred Thousand, United States Dollars in my branch. Upon maturity, I sent a routine notification to his forwarding address but got no reply. After a month, I sent a reminder and finally we discovered from his contract employers, that Mr. Seung-Yeoul Johnson died from an automobile accident .On further investigation, I found out that he died without making a Will, and all attempts to trace his next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr. Seung-Yeoul Johnson did not declare any next of kin or relations in all his official documents, including his Bank Deposit paperwork in our Bank. From past experiences, I know that no one will ever come forward to claim the deceased funds. According to Ghana Law, at the expiration of 5 (five) years, the funds will be unclaimable and revert to the ownership of the Ghana Government as contribution to the Defense ministry if nobody applies to claim the fund. In order to avert this development, I in conjunction with a colleague (the Foreign Remittance Manager in the bank) now seek your permission to allow an attorney do a backdated WILL in your name, so that the funds would be released to you as the new owner (on behalf of me and my colleague). We are writing you because, citizens resident here we cannot operate a foreign account or have an account that is more than 50,000ghc.Consequently; I will present you as the owner of the funds so you can be able to claim it on our behalf with the help of an attorney. This is simple. I will like you to provide immediately your: FULL NAME/FULL CONTACT ADDRESS/PHONE/FAX NUMBERS, so that an Attorney will prepare the necessary documents which will put you in place as the beneficiary of the funds. The money will then be released to your custody or your designated bank account by the bank, for us to share in the ratio of 60% for us and 40% for you. There is no risk at all as all the paperwork for this transaction will be done by the Attorney and this will guarantee the successful execution of this transaction. If you are interested, please reply immediately via my email address. No doubt this proposal will make you apprehensive, please I employ you to observe utmost confidentiality and rest assured that this transaction would be most profitable for both of us. This is why your urgent action and response is of priority to enable us wrap up this transaction as soon as possible.
Thanks and regards.
This is supposed to be an over-invoiced contract scam (which I know from his web site). JOE GIDISU
[And he immediately follows up with:] This is the details of my proposal. http://joegidisu.com/proposals.pdf Joe Gidisu.[Surprise, surprise.] JOE GIDISU
[He jogs me later the same day:]
Thank you for your kind response, This is the details of my proposal.
http://joegidisu.com/proposals.pdf Joe Gidisu. ANNA DEMEANOUR
Yeah yeah I looked at it.
You said some guy died. But this document says there's an over invoiced contract. It doesn't mention the dead guy. What's an over invoiced contract anyways? Over to you. JOE GIDISU
[So he emails me back the same exact thing:] 6/17 Below is what i sent you previously . This is the details of my proposal. http://joegidisu.com/proposals.pdf Joe Gidisu.JOE GIDISU
[And the next day:] RE: Re Re : <<<urgent reply is needed>> Good Day. I have not heard back from you to enable me know my next step? WhatÕs on your mind? I will wait for your timely response. Mr. JoeANNA DEMEANOUR

Like I said, I looked at it. JOE GIDISU
Re: Re Re :<<<Agreement to sign>>
AGREEMENT mr.gidisu ..doc (31KB) I received your email and the contents are well noted. Mr. Seung-Yeoul Johnson was a contractor and most of our politicians here in Ghana are using the man to move funds out of the country because of his reputation. Thus the fund in question was over contract invoice which one of the politicians gave him to deposit with his name to avoid trace. Unfortunately the man died without next of kin. So the fund has been in our company for many years since nobody knows about it. Open the attach document to sign and send back to me to enable me direct you how to contact our bank for onward transfer of the funds to your designated account . Cordially yours. Mr. JoeJOE GIDISU
Re: Re Re : <<<Let Us Discuss>>

[Neh, I'm not all that mature.]
